Privacy policy

Last updated 18 August 2026

This site runs no analytics, no advertising trackers and no cookies. The only personal information it collects is what you choose to type into the estimate form. What follows describes exactly what happens to that.

What we collect

The only personal information this website collects is what you type into the estimate request form: your name, phone number, optionally your email address, the service and area you selected, and anything you write in the project details box. We also record which page the form was submitted from, so we know what you were reading when you got in touch.

If you call us, email us, or we visit your property to price a job, we take the ordinary details any contractor needs to quote and carry out the work — where the property is, how to reach you, and what you want done, along with any photographs or measurements taken on site.

We do not run analytics, advertising pixels, session recording, or any third-party tracking script on this site. We do not set cookies. There is no login and no account.

How the form submission is handled

When you submit the form, the details are sent to our own server-side endpoint and forwarded to us as an email through an email service provider, which processes the message only in order to deliver it. We do not add form submissions to a marketing list.

The form includes two automated spam checks: a hidden field that a person never sees and never fills in, and a check on how long the form was open before submission. Neither collects any additional information about you.

How we use it

We use your details to respond to your enquiry, arrange a site visit, prepare and discuss an estimate, and — if you go ahead — to schedule, carry out and invoice the work, and to deal with anything that comes up afterwards.

We do not use your information to advertise to you, and we do not send marketing email unless you have specifically asked us to.

Who we share it with

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with anyone for their own marketing.

We share it only where the work requires it: with suppliers delivering materials to your address, with a subcontractor or specialist brought in for part of a job, and with the professionals who handle our accounts. Each receives only what they need for that purpose. We may also disclose information where the law requires it.

Photographs of completed work

We photograph the projects we build, and some of those photographs appear on this site and on our social media. They show the work — paving, walls, planting, structures — rather than the people who live there, and we do not publish a customer's name, street address or any other identifying detail alongside them. Locations are given at city level only.

If your project has been photographed and you would rather it were not shown, tell us and we will take it down.

Embedded maps

Several pages embed a Google Map showing a service area or our office location. Those maps are loaded from Google, which means Google receives a request from your browser when the map loads and can see your IP address in the ordinary way any web request works. Google's handling of that is governed by its own privacy policy rather than by ours.

The maps are set to load lazily, so on most pages nothing is requested from Google unless you scroll far enough for the map to come into view.

Hosting, images and security

The site is served as static files by our hosting provider. Like any web host, it processes the technical request data needed to serve a page — IP address, browser type, requested URL — as part of delivering the site and protecting it from abuse.

All photographs and fonts are served from this site rather than from third-party networks, so viewing a page does not make requests to any advertising or font network. The site is served over an encrypted connection throughout.

We take reasonable steps to keep the information we hold secure, though no method of transmitting or storing data can be guaranteed completely secure.

How long we keep it

If you enquire and do not go ahead, we keep the enquiry only as long as it is useful for following up, and we will delete it on request.

If you become a customer, we keep the job records for as long as we may need them — to honour a warranty, to answer a question about work we did, and to meet the tax and accounting obligations any business has.

Your choices

You can ask us what details we hold about you, ask us to correct them, or ask us to delete them. Write to the email address below and we will deal with it. If we cannot delete something — because we are required to keep it — we will tell you why.

You can also simply call rather than using the form, in which case nothing is stored by this website at all.

Children

Our services are sold to property owners, and this site is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13. If you believe a child has sent us their details, contact us and we will remove them.

Changes to this policy

If we change how we handle personal information, we will update this page and the date at the top of it. There is no mailing list to notify, so the date is the record.
