We reply during office hours — Monday – Friday, 9:00 AM – 7:00 PM, and Saturday, 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM. A request that arrives on a Saturday afternoon or a Sunday gets picked up Monday morning rather than sitting until midweek. If something is urgent — water getting into a building, a wall that has moved suddenly — call (425) 533-9734 rather than using the form, because the phone is monitored during working hours and the inbox is checked in batches.

We walk the property with you, and most of the useful information comes out of the second half of that conversation rather than the first. We look at grade, drainage and access, ask what you want the space to do, and talk through options and materials honestly — including when the cheaper answer is the right one. It takes about an hour on a typical residential project. There is no charge and no obligation.

No, and most people do not. A useful starting point is what is wrong with the yard now and what you wish you could do out there — those two things tell us more than a list of services would. Photographs help if you have them, and rough dimensions help, but neither is required. Part of what the site visit is for is working out which services the project actually involves.

Yes and no, respectively. The visit and the written estimate cost nothing, and there is no obligation to proceed. We would rather quote ten projects and build four than pressure anyone into a build they are not sure about — the fixed-price, no-deposit terms only work if both sides are comfortable before anything starts. If our number is higher than another quote, ask what is different; usually it is the base or the drainage.
